The Top Ten - week ending 30 March 2019

Welcome back, my fellow loungers!

Saturday is once again upon us, Spring has sprung, the flowers are beginning to bud. Life is wonderful! The feeling of a new beginning envelopes us all.

I hope that you all enjoyed listening to my Goodbye Winter mix last week. If you missed it, scroll down through the blog to find it.

I applaud all of you that are taking the time to not only listen to This is Lounge, but also checking in here and/or the website on a ongoing basis. As visitor counts go up and listeners increase, it all helps to keep the music going.

And speaking of the music, let's get right to this week's chart!

Congrats to DJ Michael Maretimo, as his track, Bossa en el Barco is our new number one this week! If any song will get you in the mood for the warmer weather, this one is it! The smooth chillhop sound of Wane of Summer comes in at number two, followed by the beautiful sounds of Tom Holmes.

I'd also like to send a shoutout to Spear Oh, as he makes the leap from Bubbling Under this week, with his Summery sounds in a track called The Bay. Please enjoy.

Wanna see your fave track move up the chart? Go to www.thisislounge.com and cast your vote. It only takes a minute to be a part of the process.

Thanks for all of your support, and until next week,

Stay chilled.

The Top Ten - week ending 23 March 2019

Spring has finally arrived!!!!!

As a bonus this week, I think it's time to bring out my Goodbye Winter mix, posted on Mixcloud! (Scroll down to check out the player.)

I'm just hoping Mother Nature doesn't surprise us with an April Fools snowstorm, which she has done in the past. My bet is on the nice weather!

And what's nice weather without a little nice music. Fired up the BBQ last night after work, and cranked up This is Lounge on the patio.....a preview of what's to come, no doubt.

The Top Ten this week is looking pretty good! We have a new number one, with TIL faves, The Warheads, knocking Jazz City off of their reign, and DJ Maretimo swapping positions with Wane of Summer.

My heartfelt thanks to all of you tuning in and supporting the music and the artists. With the warm weather fast approaching, be sure to take us along.

Until next week,

Stay chilled.

The Top Ten - week ending 16 March 2019

Welcome to this week's Top Ten chart for This is Lounge, my fellow loungers!!

We've had wonderful week here, as Spring battles for dominance in the weather category. In the music category, dominance continues with Maretimo artist, Jazz City, continuing to stay atop the charts with their catchy, downtempo Hold Me Back.

The Warheads climb into the number two position, followed by Wanes of Summer.
And speaking of Summer, I'm sure a lot of you have been making your vacation plans - a beach house in Cape Cod, a party/chillout experience in Ibiza, a lakeside cottage, or anything anywhere near a body of water, for that matter! Wherever that may be, be sure to take us along. As long as the country is not geoblocked, log into This is Lounge from any wi-fi access for free streaming. Let us be your soundtrack to Summer!

As always, a big thank you to all of you who have been commenting and supporting the station through financial donations and artist purchases. It is truly appreciated. This all keeps the music going.

As for the music, I guess it's time to reveal this week's chart. So, have a great weekend, and don't forget....

Stay chilled.
