Welcome back to Saturday, my fellow loungers!
Well, Summer is now officially over here. But 'hello Summer' to all of you listeners in Australia! That's what's so nice about this planet - it's always Summer somewhere!
So even if we can't be in a Summer locale physically, we are in mind. Of course, that leads me to why we are here. The sounds of Summer is the impetus for This is Lounge. So tune in anytime for that relaxing, "sun-on-you-face" warm feeling.
Well, I promised you that we would be adding some new music, and it began this week. Artists like Diboujone, Pekter, Irina, and Giacomo Bondi. From Spanish-influenced guitar to Brazilian-inspired bossa, we have some great new music added to the playlist.
So with all this new music, the Top Ten list has gone through some changes. First of all, congrats to Michael e for his lovely track, Summertime, reaching number one this week! As Clelia slips to number three, Japanese Breakfast (gotta love the name!) moves into the second spot with their chilled out cover of the Tears for Fears hit.
